Early Talkers – speech and language development
Communication and Language have been placed at the top of the agenda by Ofsted and as one of the Prime Areas, all Practitioners are expected to have knowledge and strategies to ensure children’s language is developing effectively. This early speech/learning to talk course will provide useful knowledge and valuable practical ideas and activities to enable practitioners to deliver this early communication aspect to the Ofsted standard of Outstanding.
This Early Years speech and language development course will enable Practitioners to:
- Understand how children communicate
- Create a rich learning environment to support language development
- Develop strategies to meet the EYFS Requirements including School Readiness
- Understand what Ofsted look for in Communication and Language
Course Length: 2 hours
Early speech – Learning to talk
This course is aimed at practitioners new and experienced to support they’re being able to meet the high expectations placed on us by Ofsted. This will ensure they are fully supporting this Prime area of learning with children in their settings.
We are currently delivering our courses via Zoom Live. We use a lot of different methods to make sure courses are as interactive as possible and do expect delegates to have cameras on and sound on when required. We also request that you take part in the feedback on our courses so that we can improve our services every time. We provide individual certificates for all of our courses.
