Taking part in challenging play in early years activities has lots of benefits to young children, but just how much risk is too much?  This course examines the way we handle risky play in nurseries, from why they should be used to how to mitigate the risk.  This course provides tools to safely provide a risk assessed, challenging environment for children that allows them to take risks that aid their development.

This Risky Play in Early Years training course will cover the following points:

  • What is Risky Play?
  • Understanding the importance of Risky Play
  • Safely promoting Risky Play in your setting
  • The importance of correct Risk Assessment

Risky Play in Nurseries

We aim this Risky Play in Early Years Training Course at any practitioners that work with 2-5-year-olds.  We aim the risky play opportunities content contains examples at children aged 3-5. The concepts can be tailored to suit toddlers (but not under 2s).

 £30.00 per person
Course length: 2 hours

MBK Group is currently delivering our courses via Zoom Live. We use a lot of different methods to make sure courses are as interactive as possible. We are expecting delegates to have cameras on and sound on when required. MBK Group also requests that you take part in the feedback on our courses so that we can improve our services every time. We provide individual certificates for all of our courses.
