Supporting children with SEND strategies and resources – A best practice model

A practical and interactive course to help practitioners understanding of how best to support children with special educational needs and disabilities within their setting. The course will use best practise models to show participants practical and straight forward strategies for supporting children with SEND, promoting their development and providing for their individual needs. During the session, practitioners will learn how to use the resources and equipment they already work with. This effectively and inclusively with children promoting all areas of a child’s development.

This course is aimed at every practitioner wanting to learn more about offering high-quality support to children with SEND within their setting. It enables those wanting to know how to use their current resources and equipment to support the development of all children regardless of their needs.

This Supporting children with SEND course will teach you:

• Know what best practice is in relation to supporting children with SEND
• Understand and be able to use a range of simple and practical strategies. To have the resources to develop an individual or group programme for children within a setting
• Know how to use the equipment within your setting with children with SEND. To support their development and maximise their progress

We are currently delivering our courses via Zoom Live. We use a lot of different methods to make sure courses are as interactive as possible and do expect delegates to have cameras on and sound on when required. We also request that you take part in the feedback on our courses in order that we can improve our services every time. We provide individual certificates for all of our courses.
