Delivering Awe and Wonder training

Building on from our Let them Loose course we have developed a new building curiosity in children course that is further designed to support and enthuse practitioners to deliver an inspirational experience for children, using natural and authentic materials. This delivering awe and wonder training course specifically looks at how we can deliver the awe & wonder and develop curious learners to support the Quality of Education Ofsted outcome.

The provision of an enabling environment, designed to be engaging and interactive, remains a key aspect in the delivery of a quality curriculum. Natural and authentic resources provide a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about the awe and wonder of the world.  It also supports their creativity and critical thinking. This building curiosity in children course examines how to create a highly curious and engaging learning environment.  We look at child accessible resources and how to support practitioners to get the individualised learning for each child.

This course will enable practitioners to:

  • Recognise the importance of developing curious learners in your setting
  • How to go about developing Awe & Wonder in your setting
  • Understand what makes a great curious resource
  • Understand how to get the most out of your learning environment

This building curiosity in children course is aimed at practitioners, new and experienced, in order to support the children in their care and offer them engaging and effective activities. It helps to ensure practitioners are providing environments that support and prepare children for their next steps. All this as well as meet the Ofsted standards for Quality of Education.
