Emma Beard has worked in the early years sector for 25 years. During that time she gained her Diploma in Nursery Nursing, Foundation Degree in Early Years, BA (Hons) in Early Educations Studies, National Professional Qualification in Integrated Children’s Centre Leadership (MA) and in 2018 she gained her Trainer qualification.
Additionally Emma also trained as an Ofsted Inspector during 2022.
Emma has been leading and managing staff for almost 20 years within the Early Years sector.
Emma has mainly worked in nurseries and children’s centres. Interestingly though she did have a year out to work as an Early Years manager in Greece in 2014 which brought a new perspective to her Leadership skills.
Emma lives in Birmingham and other than her time in Greece Emma has pretty much worked in and around the West Midlands her whole career.
Currently, Emma Beard is the Operations Director of the Bright Kids Group who operate eight day nurseries and three out of school clubs. Emma is also an Early Years Trainer and Consultant for MBK Group, providing training and support all over the country.
It’s fair to say Emma has a passion for all things early years related and this is reflected in her training and consultancy work.
Emma undertakes Quality Audits, Ofsted Experience Days and undertakes training in Preparing fir your EIF Inspecction alongside management and Safeguarding training.
