Bespoke Safeguarding in Early Years Refresher- Safeguarding in Practice

This Basic Safeguarding / Early Years safeguarding training course is aimed at all Early Years practitioners who are looking to understand the wider arena of Safeguarding in Early Years.

Basic safeguarding in early years is an integral part of every Early Year Practitioner’s job role and it is essential to keep updated and informed of the process and actions we go through every day in order to provide a safe environment for the children in our care. Having up-to-date knowledge, including Prevent Duty, will enable Practitioners to be confident in the process of providing a safe environment for everyone in the setting.

This short Early Years safeguarding training course will enable Practitioners:

• To understand the difference between Child Protection and Safeguarding
• Recognise the importance of policies and procedures in safeguarding
• To know the responsibilities of practitioners
• Understand the new safeguarding issues from the Education Inspection Framework including the Fundamental British Values, FGM & CSE

This Safeguarding Training Course is aimed at new and existing employees who need to understand the wider arena of Safeguarding and to ensure that they have a good understanding of what policies and procedures are involved in the safeguarding of children and why we use these processes.

We are currently delivering our courses via Zoom Live. We use many different methods to make sure courses are as interactive as possible and do expect delegates to have cameras on and sound on when required. We also request that you take part in the feedback on our courses in order that we can improve our services every time. We provide individual certificates for all of our courses.
