MBK Summer Snapshots
This summer, MBK Early Years is offering a series of low cost one-hour Summer Snapshot webinars, designed to help early years teams reflect on some of the key areas within the Early Years Inspection Toolkit.
Each session will offer a focused overview of an important area of practice, helping practitioners, room leaders, deputies, managers and providers to consider what this means in everyday practice, what may already be in place, and where practice may need to be strengthened further.
Leadership and Governance runs through every part of early years practice, from the quality of the provision to how leaders support the team, understand the setting and drive improvement.
This session will support early years teams to reflect on leadership and governance within the Early Years Inspection Toolkit, including how leaders understand the quality of their provision, how priorities are identified, and how everyone contributes to a culture of quality, consistency and improvement.
We will explore key questions such as:
What does effective leadership look like in everyday practice?How do leaders and practitioners contribute to a strong team culture?
How are strengths and areas for development identified?
How do leaders support improvement without creating unnecessary workload?
How does leadership and governance connect to the wider inspection picture?

This Summer Snapshot is ideal for practitioners, room leaders, deputies, managers,
senior leaders and providers who want to reflect on how leadership, teamwork and

We are currently delivering our courses via Zoom Live. We use a lot of different methods to make sure courses are as interactive as possible and do expect delegates to have cameras on and sound on when required. We also request that you take part in the feedback on our courses so that we can improve our services every time. We provide individual certificates for all of our courses.
