Mon - Fri: 8am to 5pm
In this one-hour session, Charmaine will offer a clear and down-to-earth overview of how early years practitioners can begin to recognise and respond to special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in their setting.
This isn’t about doing everything at once – it’s about feeling more confident in those first steps: knowing what to look out for, how to talk about concerns, and how the four broad areas of need can guide your observations and support.
Charmaine will also touch on the SEND Code of Practice, helping you understand how it links to what you do every day, and offering simple, practical tips to help you feel more comfortable when supporting children and families.
