MBK Summer Snapshots
This summer, MBK Early Years is offering a series of free one-hour Summer Snapshot webinars, designed to help early years teams reflect on some of the key areas within the Early Years Inspection Toolkit.
Each session will offer a focused overview of an important area of practice, helping practitioners, room leaders, deputies, managers and providers to consider what this means in everyday practice, what may already be in place, and where practice may need to be strengthened further.
Inclusion is a key part of high-quality early years practice. It is about how children belong, participate and receive the support they need to access learning, routines and relationships.
This session will support early years teams to reflect on what inclusion looks like in practice, what the expectations are, and what this means within the Early Years Inspection Toolkit.
We will explore key questions such as:
What does inclusion look like across the whole setting?
How do practitioners help children to belong, participate and thrive?
How are barriers identified and responded to?
What does inclusive practice mean for children with SEND, children who are disadvantaged, and children who need additional support? How does inclusion connect to relationships, routines, curriculum, teaching and safeguarding?
